At Bradford Systems, we’re strong proponents of a business world where sustainability is a priority. Our philosophy has always been one of making the best possible use of space and improving the ergonomic quality of your office, industrial warehouse, or other workplace environments. At our core, we’re committed to help protect our planet’s natural resources for generations to come and continue on an eco-friendly path.
We strive to set an example for environmentally-friendly practices, such as supporting clients’ LEED certification goals, that can encourage other organizations to take charge in their own industries through corporate stewardship and thoughtful repurposing of materials. Great companies we partner with, like Hamilton Casework Solutions and Spacesaver, are already working toward more green initiatives. At Bradford Systems, we gladly offer all our clients green alternatives to their current storage systems, ranging from designated trash and recycling areas to manufacturing practices and products that use an average of 75% recycled materials.
We care deeply about the planet and creating a business that gives back to nature. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every order placed.
Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health & wellbeing, and create jobs for social impact. For this reason, we’re honored to have reforestation through One Tree Planted as an integral part of our business model. If you’d like to learn more or join the cause, click below to donate now.
The mailrooms in a corporate setting experience the most amount of paper waste of any other room in the building. Every department uses this area for printing, mailing, and sorting tons of paper and plastic, even some metals, every year. Because of this, our partners at Hamilton Casework Solutions have dedicated vast amounts of resources to cut down environmental damage from everything else in the mailroom—like their modular casework manufacturing process and establishing paper, plastic, and metal bin disposals. Hamilton is active with current sustainability efforts in the A&D community like Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and have extensive experience satisfying LEED certifications for their products. Take a look at their modular casework LEED rating sheet below to see how they do it!
Knowing how to correctly dispose of different materials is half the battle, the other is taking action. We’re able to create designated disposable material areas so your waste goes to the right place and gets handled the right way. You can find these areas especially in mixed-material rooms like a company mail room or a staff kitchen. Not only does this allow for these products to be recycled and repurposed, but also shows dedication to a greener footprint and responsible waste practices. Take a look at the case study below to learn how a popular library achieved their LEED® Silver goal using our partner products!
The goal of our projects is to create more space capacity using a smaller footprint, leaving the extra space to generate more revenue or store more stuff. As our process has evolved, so has the manufacuring of our offered products, which now use 30% less steel and contain an average of 75% recycled metals. What’s more is that the very nature of our products allows for them to be reconfigured, relocated, and reused multiple times before the end of their life cycle. Not only do we care about sustainability, but our product partners like Hamilton and Spacesaver do too, the latter being members of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).
