Sales Support/CAD Designer – Illinois

Bradford Systems Corporation (BSC) seeks to help businesses become more efficient through better design and organization. BSC is the largest provider of equipment storages systems in the Midwest. The firm focuses on corporate/financial institutions, higher education facilities, healthcare, museum, public safety, and military applications. In the Industrial sector, we provide warehouse solutions. This includes industrial bulk storage, refrigerated storage solutions, Vertical Lifts, and pallet racking. The company’s backbone is its robust sales strategy which provides for well-trained and responsive salespeople.

We are in search of a Sales Support/CAD Designer;

  • Operates computer-aided design software to perform drafting and design activities.
  • Provides teammates with input so they can make accurate decisions
  • Collaborate with sales reps and customers to assist with defined problems
  • Participates in online meetings to collaborate with architects, prospects, sales reps, etc.
  • Works from architectural notes, drawings, sketches, and verbal instruction to create detailed designs
  • Participates in the preparation of documentation, including proposal preparation
  • Review and check project-specific drawings and data sheets to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards
  • Quickly learns and applies new concepts, skills, and knowledge to assigned tasks.
  • Ensures successful completion of assigned tasks within time and cost constraints.
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers/suppliers.
  • Ensures that designs comply with fire codes, ADA compliance, etc.
  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Learns and follows established work processes.

Requirements & Skills

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Good driving record, valid driver’s license, full coverage insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Solid employment history
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.

Industrial Sales Representative – Illinois/Indiana

Bradford Systems is hiring an Industrial Sales Representative to join our growing team. Bradford Systems provides cost-effective storage solutions. In addition, we provide our clients with better design and organization to help them maximize their space.

Responsibilities:

  • Further develop our sales in the Industrial market. We distribute Vertical Lift Machines (VLM), Carousels, and other material handling products to improve picking, storage, and inventory control. We also provide heavy-duty mobile racking ideal for warehouses, freezers, and any location that requires a compact storage solution for heavy items.
  • Meeting or exceeding company sales quotas while increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Interacting extensively with customers to help measure, layout, and design a storage solution that fits their needs.
  • Strategize with our Business Development team to orchestrate marketing campaigns to increase activity in several markets.
  • Drive strategic alignment across all of our sectors to enable business growth.
  • Participate in Lunch and Learns and other networking engagements representing our firm.
  • Enter all leads and sales activities in our BSC project management software and SFDC.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and promptly follow up with the critical decision-makers.
  • Complete all required customer and BSC paperwork on sold projects, including, but not limited to, pre and post-project pictures, warranty documents, and post-project sign-offs.
  • Regularly meet with sales/executive management to review monthly sales activities.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Must communicate with prospects, customers, vendors, and fellow employees professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess analytical/problem-solving solutions for clients and the company.
  • Previous cold calling and networking experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.

  • Each sales team member must cultivate, track, and continuously follow up on hundreds of prospects and active clients to ensure every sales opportunity is captured, reported, and worked to its fullest potential.

Front Desk Administrator at Bradford Systems Corporation

Bradford Systems, the Midwest leader in storage solutions, has an office opening at their Elmhurst headquarters location. Flexible hours at the convenient Bradford Systems location make this the perfect part-time job. This position must interact with all levels of the organization in a friendly, professional, and effective manner.

This position’s tasks include:

  • Check-in deliveries
  • Answer phones
  • Send out samples for sales reps
  • Help fill out online forms for paperwork submitted by sales reps for new vendors, General Contractor forms, and other non-sensitive paperwork
  • Send out UPS packages
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Take in, sort, open, and disperse the daily mail
  • Order supplies for the office
  • Fill out paperwork for new vendors, etc.
  • File paperwork for the accounting office
  • Entry of vendor invoices into projects in our internal project management software
  • Accounting background is a plus.

Field Supervisor/Installer at Bradford Systems Corporation

Summary: Performs efficient installation and assembly of storage equipment at clients’ facilities, including high-density storage systems, shelving, lockers, etc. Is responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and a high degree of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. In addition, other duties may be assigned:

Personal and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Has the ability to lead crews, communicate with customers, factories, carriers, etc.
  • Is professional in appearance and manners
  • Has good oral and written communication skills
  • Has physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment
  • Has strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated; can work irregular hours and extended shifts

Technical and Product Skills:

  • Is mechanically adept and knows how to use tools and equipment safely
  • Understands basic installation processes: unloading, loading, staging, panel assembly, component assembly, cleanup and detailing, lock installation, etc.
  • Can read plans, blueprints, and elevations a plus.
