Installation & Service Technician – Bloomington, Illinois

Bradford Systems Corporation has been in business for over 50 years and is a leading provider of business solutions that assist customers in saving space and improving efficiency. Our shelving and storage solutions include products from Spacesaver, Modula and Rousseau to name a few.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Installation & Service Technician for Bradford Systems, your main focus will be to provide the best customer service to deliver, install and service customized shelving and storage systems. Our systems are assembled at customer sites and include stationary and moveable shelving along with Vertical Lifts etc. We also provide and install locker systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use a variety of hand tools.
  • Follow proper OSHA safety and jobsite requirements.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently or with a team.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers and document all work performed.
  • Follow direction from more experienced installers.
  • Complete manufacturer certified training in both classroom and online settings.
  • Be able to travel overnight on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

  • High School/Technical School Diploma.
  • Computer skills are a positive.
  • Valid Driver’s license.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Punctual and dependable worker.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work as an effective team member.
  • Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
